This seems the norm for the tournament these days. We don't think that's right and we want it to change. Please support our message to the organisers:
Dear FIFA,
The World Cup should belong to the fans. Without the real fans there would be no World Cup. We don't object to the commerciality. We don't expect it to be cheap. We don't expect to always get tickets for every game our team plays in. But we do think that genuine fans should have more chance of getting tickets than anyone else.
In the interests of the tournament and the game we ask you to impose this simple condition on future host nations: that a minimum of 80% of tickets should be allocated to genuine fans of participating nations through their official supporters associations.
That's all we, the fans, ask of you, the organisers. Please remember, it's our World Cup too.
